This Fall 2014 course is the second iteration of my graduate course English 236, "Digital Humanities: Introduction to the Field" at University of California, Santa Barbara.  It is revised from the first version of the course in Fall 2013.  I have borrowed ideas, concepts for assignments, and resources from past courses I have taught on new media and digital humanities (e.g., "Literature+" project-building courses) and from other instructors in the world digital humanities community.  Innovative courses taught by others that I have consulted or whose resources/ideas I have drawn from include:
